Modern architecture has something for everyone. Even if your taste may veer towards the opposite side of the design spectrum (i.e. rustic country)— there are still elements of modern design that will appeal to you. Don’t believe it? After reading this article, you may change your mind.
Overall, modern architecture is defined by clean lines and minimalist interiors that allow the structure to speak for itself and take center-stage. The image below is a perfect example of clean and simple modern architecture.
Amid all the areas for relaxation are some stunning, highly functional spaces like the kitchen. Also very modern and bright, the kitchen features modern seating, a large central island and all the latest appliances. The minimalist, handle-less design contributes to the sleek style and clean appearance. Floating cabinets also make the space seem more open without the bulk of cabinetry sitting directly on the floor.
Before we get into the details of the design, we should first present the context. This is a house that’s deeply integrated into the neighborhood, being raised on an inner lot, hidden behind neighboring structures. That means it has limited street access and, in addition to that, the views don’t really do much for it since they’re mostly obstructed by the other buildings.
