You will also need seeds. I typically only grow arugula, but you can certainly grow a mix of greens. Look for mixes that germinate and sprout at about the same time, as it is important to have uniform growth for your harvest. Mesclun mixes work well or you can make your own mixes by combining your favorite greens. If you are concerned about germination times, grow your greens in separate containers and combine them after harvest.
Sometimes your lawn needs a good feeding to help it look and feel its best. Not everyone uses lawn feed on their grass, but if you’re looking to improve your curb appeal, it's a pretty good choice. Some lawn feeds incorporate weed and moss killer, while others just focus on giving the grass the nutrients it needs to grow thick and luscious. If you’re having a severe problem with weeds or moss, the latter may be a better choice, but make sure to read the instructions on its label carefully when applying it.
